Rini Nasution began his professional career as a researcher at the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT), after completing his Bachelor in Engineering in Haagse Chemicai Technische Hogeschool, The Hague, Netherlands, in 1992. Nine years later, in 2001, he began to take part in the Forum Indonesian environment (WALHI). In the span of a year in WALHI lma, he was successively entrusted to lead the Division of Research and Environmental Policy and Resource Mobilization Division, and later became Manager of Knowledge Management. Separated from WALHI, after a year as a Grant Manager at Plan International Indonesia, he was entrusted to lead Satu Dunia Foundation, since 2007 until now. Various non-governmental organizations are often invited as a guest speaker or a speaker in seminars, workshops, training as well as experience and expertise in mobilizing resources, in addition to his skills in various studies and surveys.
